David Ortega

David Ortega has been working in the software development and web design and development fields since 2012. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Zen Designer S.A. In 2013, they worked as an Administrator of a website and social media at Ecuador View Express. David then worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at SRP Communication & Brand Design from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at RAPP Argentina - Omnicom Company. David then worked as a Full Stack Developer (React + Node) at Habla AI, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a JavaScript Architect at Onapsis Inc. and as a JavaScript Developer at Deviget LLC. Currently, they are working as a JavaScript Lead Developer at Outer (Deviget Contractor). David'smain objective is to lead the development team to create an international e-commerce application with the best user interface and user experience. David has achieved various accomplishments such as the development of an ecommerce application using Gatbsy (React, GraphQL), CMS application using Strapi (React, GraphQL), CD/CI using Netlify, Github actions and AWS, analytics implementation (Segment), I18n implementation, and more.

David Ortega has completed several educational programs throughout their career. In 2000, they began studying Ingeniería en electrónica at Universidad del Azuay and graduated in 2005. In 2005, they completed a Curso de grado in Ingeniería en electrónica at University of Buenos Aires. From 2010 to 2014, they studied Tecnicatura in Diseño gráfico at Instituto Metropolitano de Diseño. From 2014 to 2015, they completed a Licenciatura en Diseño in Diseño gráfico at Universidad de Palermo. From 2015 to 2017, they studied Full Stack Developer in Information Technology at CodeAcademy. In 2017, they completed a Front End Developer in Ingeniería de sistemas at Coderhouse, as well as a Back End Developer in Ingeniería de sistemas. In 2021, they began studying Javascript Developer in Computer Software Engineering at Front-End Masters. David has also obtained several certifications, including OWASP 2017 from Veracode, Secure Software Remediation Basics from Veracode, Veracode Application Security Fundamentals from Veracode, Introduction to Web Application Security from Veracode, Desarrollador Front End from Coderhouse, and Desarrollador Back End from Coderhouse.
