Rayan Dawud

Rayan is an operator and an investor. Most recently, Rayan was a member of the Careem Corporate Development team which was responsible for their $3.1B acquisition by Uber as well as serving as the Assistant General Manager of Careem UAE.

Rayan’s career in the regional tech ecosystem began at Wamda Capital, where he spent two years sourcing, analyzing, and executing investments. Before joining Wamda, he spent five years in strategy and operations consulting in the US, EU, and UK with Accenture Strategy, advising and executing digital strategies on behalf of Fortune 100 clients in the Financial Services sector.

Rayan holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts.
