Katja Salomaa

Katja Salomaa currently serves as Vice President of Investments & Consumables Sourcing and Supply Management at Outokumpu, where responsibilities include leading the Category Group for Production Consumables since April 2021. Concurrently, Katja has been the Managing Director of Mikaro Ltd since April 2015 and transitioned to Managing Director of Mikaro Oy in January 2021. Previous roles include Senior Director of Sourcing & Supply Planning and Director of Strategic Sourcing at Sierra Wireless from August 2015 to March 2020, and Director of Strategic Sourcing at Microsoft from August 2014 to March 2015, focusing on Audio & Antenna Sourcing. Additionally, Katja held several positions at Nokia, including Category Head for ElectroMechanics Sourcing and various roles in Hardware Sourcing and Material Supply Analytics between 2010 and 2014.
