Eugene Viljoen

Eugene Viljoen is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in modernization and upgrades of thickener and filtration equipment. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Metso since April 2008, Eugene has also held the position of Chief Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Outotec during the same timeframe, providing expertise in fabrication, installation, commissioning, and technical procurement. Previous roles include Senior Draughtsman and Section Leader in the drawing office. Eugene's educational background includes a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute, an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from TUT, and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Technickon Pretoria.
