Jerker Bäcklin

Jerker Bäcklin is the COO at NetSec & AppSec at Outpost24. Jerker has over 20 years of experience in the telecom and IT industry.

Jerker started their career at Ericsson in 1995 as an Operational System Manager. Jerker then moved to Ericsson South and became the Manager Software Solutions at Resurs Bank. In 2007, they returned to Ericsson as the Head Solution Architect Mobile Money Program and System Manager Ericsson. During their time at Ericsson, Jerker transformed a global org into a Devops org, including optimization of global workforce, turning a negative business into successful profitable.

In 2014, Jerker left Ericsson to become the Chief Operating officer at Outpost24. Jerker was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company as well as overseeing the development of new products. In 2017, they were promoted to their current position.

Jerker Bäcklin attended the Blekinge Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
