Ellen Barker

Ellen Barker has extensive experience in fundraising and development. Ellen is currently serving as the Vice President for Development and Communications at Outreach: Building Healthy Lives since 2022. Prior to their current role, they were the Executive Director at The Floating Hospital Foundation from 2020 to 2022. Ellen also worked as the Senior Director of Engagement at Physicians for Reproductive Health from 2013 to 2020. Ellen has had previous roles as a consultant and chair of grant panels at Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York and as the Program Manager for Go!Healthy at The Children's Aid Society. Additionally, Ellen has worked as an independent fundraising consultant and held positions in development at Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health, Signature Theatre Company, and Big Apple Circus.

Ellen Barker attended Bard College from 1983 to 1986, where they pursued a degree in Languages and Literature. Ellen then completed their education at the International Culinary Center from 2002 to 2003, obtaining a Grande Diploma in Culinary Arts.
