Jan Dostál

Jan Dostál has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Jan started their career at IBM in 2017, where they worked as an IoT Developer & Consultant, specializing in IoT development on the IBM Bluemix platform. Jan also worked on the development of control and information interfaces in Node-RED.

After that, Jan joined Bayer as a Data Analyst in 2016, where they worked until 2018.

Later, they worked at eppTec as a Full-stack Developer, where they were responsible for the development of their own Product Designer and Product Catalogue. This involved developing Java back-end (using Spring and Spring Boot), implementing business logic and RESTful API, as well as creating and maintaining Angular 6 front-end.

In 2019, Jan joined EmbedIT as a Software Developer. Jan worked in this role until 2021, contributing to various software development projects.

In 2022, Jan joined Vodafone as a Java Software Engineer, where they worked until 2022.

Currently, Jan Dostál is working as a Software Engineer at Outreach, starting in 2023.

Jan Dostál obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Prague University of Economics and Business from 2015 to 2019. In addition, they have been certified as an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer by Oracle in October 2018 and has obtained the certification of Bluemix Essentials from IBM in July 2017.
