Ming Chen

Ming Chen has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. They currently hold the position of Data Science Engineering Director at Outreach since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for six years, starting in April 2016. Their role at AWS was Sr Applied Scientist / Manager. Before joining AWS, Ming Chen worked at Amazon as a Research Scientist for two years, from September 2014 to April 2016. They also had a brief internship as a Research Scientist Intern at Amazon from May 2014 to August 2014. During their time at Amazon, Ming Chen collaborated with various development teams to enhance delivery solutions and optimize packing solutions. They also developed intelligent solutions for data validation.

Ming Chen completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Statistics from The University of Texas at Dallas between the years 2011 and 2015.
