Tyler Chamberlain has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tyler started their career as a Systems Administration Intern at Shodor Education Foundation, where they gained experience in supporting Linux/Unix environments. Tyler then joined Cisco, initially as a Network Consulting Engineer Co-Op/Intern, where they focused on Route and Switch related deliverables. Tyler also had a role as a Wireless Network Consulting Engineer, traveling to different customer sites to implement WLAN designs. Later, they became a Network Consulting Engineer (Mobility/Wireless), overseeing the implementation of wireless networks in various settings such as hospitals and stadiums. Tyler then transitioned to the role of Customer Support Engineer, where they troubleshooted management and automation software issues for Cisco TAC's Management and Automation Software Team. After their time at Cisco, Tyler joined Skytap as a Support Engineer, providing assistance to customers with VMware ESX and Power based cloud infrastructures. Currently, they are a Technical Account Manager at Outreach, responsible for delivering high touch technical support, hosting Q&A sessions, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues for large enterprise accounts in industries such as telecommunications and fintech.
Tyler Chamberlain attended Wake Technical Community College from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Networking Technology & Security. Tyler then went on to study at East Carolina University from 2015 until the present, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. In addition to their formal education, Tyler has obtained certifications in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy in May 2023 and as a Certified Administrator from Outreach in April 2023.
