Aaditya Saraiya

Computer Vision/ Machine Learning Engineer at Outrider

Aaditya Saraiya has worked in various roles in the field of computer vision and machine learning since 2016. In 2016, they were a Corporate Engineering Intern at Larsen & Toubro, where they studied factors involved in the design of high-voltage transmission lines and protection schemes of 415 KV substations. In 2017, they were a Research Intern at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they designed a real-time interface for vision-based navigation and obstacle avoidance for a two-wheeled differential drive robot. In 2018, they were a Student Developer at Open Robotics for the Google Summer of Code project, where they developed a ROS package for utilizing a 3-D reconstruction based pipeline for intelligent exploration of robotic workcells. In 2019, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Carnegie Robotics LLC, where they developed a machine learning-based approach to predict potential image-matching candidates for 3D structure estimation based on visual similarity. Currently, they are a Computer Vision/ Machine Learning Engineer at Outrider.

Aaditya Saraiya attended Eklavya School Ahmedabad from 2008 to 2014. Aaditya then attended Birla Institute Of Technology and Science, Pilani Dubai from 2014 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In November 2016, they obtained a Machine Learning certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. Lastly, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2018 to 2020, where they received a Master of Science (MS) in Robotic Systems Development.
