Joke Bodewits

Joke Bodewits is a Partner in Privacy & Cybersecurity at Hogan Lovells, where exemplary legal expertise in data protection law has been demonstrated since March 2013. With experience in national and international legal advice, Joke specializes in areas including data protection strategies, data processing agreements, and data breaches. In addition to practice, Joke serves as a Lecturer on GDPR and Privacy & Cybersecurity at various institutions, including IIR Netherlands and CPO Radboud University Nijmegen. Previous roles include Attorney at Law at Bergh Stoop & Sanders and Hogan Lovells, as well as guest lecturer on data protection and e-commerce law at Nyenrode New Business School. Joke's academic background includes a Master's degree in Civil Law and Company Law from the University of Groningen and further legal education at Grotius Academie and Universidad de Granada.
