Peter Kariuki

Peter Kariuki serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Ovanova since November 2023, focusing on clean and distributed energy solutions. Previously, Peter was a member of the Data Platform Advisory Council at Root Capital from April 2021 to April 2022, contributing to the success of the organization's Data Platform initiatives. As a Senior Software Engineer at Circulor from October 2020 to November 2021, Peter specialized in technologies for mineral traceability, with expertise in edge computing, blockchain, and machine learning. Peter co-founded SafeMotos (now CanGo Africa) in June 2014, where the mission centered around enhancing transportation safety across Africa. Additional roles include Entrepreneur in Residence at Think Accelerator, Senior Software Developer at Innovys Ltd, and various positions in consulting and entrepreneurship. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Business Information Systems from Middlesex University, awarded in 2014.
