James Sunderland has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James started their career as a Community Service Leader at the City of Irvine in 2002 and subsequently moved up to become a Senior Leader. In 2009, they co-founded Toddland LLC, where they played a vital role in developing brand imagery and messaging, planning and executing national marketing campaigns, and creating growth drivers utilizing digital marketing. James joined Over the Top Marketing in 2011, starting as a Social Media and Local SEO Specialist before progressing to become the Director of Social Media. In 2019, they became the Vice President Creative at the same company. James also served as a Council Member at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) starting in 2018.
James Sunderland attended UCLA Extension from 2016 to 2018, where they studied Marketing with a concentration in advertising. In 2016, they also attended The Wharton School for a specialization in Business Foundations and Introduction to Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Irvine Valley College from 2001 to 2004, although the degree or field of study is not specified.
