Iris Wang

Iris Wang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Iris currently works at Overdrive Interactive as an SEO Strategist/Sr. SEO Analyst, having started in April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a SEO Analyst and SEO Associate at the same company from December 2019 to April 2022.

Before joining Overdrive Interactive, Iris worked at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue as a Communications Intern. In this role, they were responsible for developing strategies to improve online government-to-citizen communication and services. Iris also managed web content and simplified legal and technical language for everyday website users. Iris assisted in the transition of content to the new Mass. gov website and implemented trackers to monitor progress.

Additionally, Iris gained experience as a Digital Services Intern at the Massachusetts Office of Information Technology in 2017. In this role, they formulated strategies for web content and cultivated relationships between stakeholder agencies and the Executive Office of Technology Services & Security.

During their time at Zhihui Health Technology, Iris worked as a Graphic Design Intern where they utilized Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign to design informational posters, patient surveys, and company rule posters. Iris also conducted research on user experience interface design for a mobile application.

Iris has also worked as an English Language Program Undergraduate Tutor at Brandeis University and as a Summer Graphic Design Intern at Scholastic.

Before entering the professional world, Iris gained experience as a tutor and teaching assistant at their own workshop, Wang's Workshop. Iris provided tutoring services for Reading & Writing (SHSAT and SAT) and served as an office assistant during their time there from 2010 to 2014.

Iris Wang pursued their education in a chronological order. Starting from 2009 to 2013, they attended Stuyvesant High School, where they did not earn a specific degree or study a particular field. Following this, from 2013 to 2017, they enrolled at Brandeis University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science and Business. In 2016, there was a brief period when they attended Donghua University, but no degree or field of study information was provided for this period. Additionally, they obtained a certification called Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in March 2019.
