Matt Charest

Matt Charest has a distinguished career in marine engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Engineer at Overseas Shipholding Group since May 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a 1st Engineer at Diamond Offshore from January 2012 to May 2017, and positions of First Engineer and Second Engineer at Chevron Shipping Company between May 2008 and December 2011. Earlier in their career, Matt held the role of First/Second Engineer at Overseas Shipping Group from March 1998 to March 2008. Matt Charest earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy, completing studies from 1987 to 1991.
