Alexey Blinov

Alexey Blinov has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. Alexey started their career in 2006 as a Software Developer at Intranel Ltd, where they worked on .NET development with a touch of Win32 C++. In 2008, they founded Sixth Corner Software. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Lead iOS developer and Software Developer at Digital Distribution Networks (bloom.fm). Theirrole included working on the mflow desktop app (C++ QT) from February 2010 to August 2010 and the mflow web app from August 2010 to November 2011 on both the client side (JavaScript) and the server side (ASP. NET MVC). In 2014, they joined Songkick as an iOS Developer, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, Engineering Director, and VP Technology. In 2016, they co-founded Cinemap and served as a Developer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Overstory as the VP of Engineering.

Alexey Blinov graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2007 with a B.Sc. (First Class Honours) in Computer Science. Alexey attended the University of Canterbury from 2004 to 2007.
