Jonathan Nielsen

Jonathan Nielsen has a strong background in research and development in the medical field. Jonathan has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of R&D at Overture Orthopaedics, Vice President of R&D at Insight Medical Systems, and Vice President of R&D at Enovis. Prior to these positions, they were a Senior Director and Director of Product Development at OrthAlign, Inc. Jonathan also has experience as an Engineering Project Manager and Sr. Product Development Engineer at the same company. Before that, they worked as a Technology Specialist at LifeModeler, Inc. and as a Product Development Engineer at Smith & Nephew. Jonathan started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Iowa.

Jonathan Nielsen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University between 1997 and 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa from 2002 to 2004.
