Zachary Nguyen

Zachary Nguyen's work experience begins in 2011 with the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an Incidental Motor Vehicle Operator and later as a Refrigeration Mechanic. In these roles, they operated vehicles and transported personnel and equipment, as well as operated and maintained air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment to enhance personnel comfort and productivity.

In 2015, Zachary worked at Tesla as a Service Assistant, where they assisted in the service center, conducted vehicle inspections, and transported vehicle parts between service centers.

From 2019 to 2023, Zachary worked at Right Click, Inc. In their roles as IT MSP Field Technician II, IT Service Coordinator, and Purchasing & Administrative Assistant, they provided IT support to clients, managed user accounts, coordinated service requests, and served as a point of contact between customers and vendors.

Most recently, in 2023, Zachary joined Overview Technology Solutions as a Systems Engineer - Governance, Risk, & Compliance. In this role, they are responsible for conducting GRC operations for clients in the US government sector, with a focus on NIST requirements and the CMMC program. Zachary'sduties include writing policy documents and updating system security plans.

Zachary Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their degree, they have also acquired several certifications. These include CMMC Overview Training from GRC Academy in June 2023, a Certificate of Completion - Advent of Cyber 2022 (Basic Cybersecurity Knowledge and Experience) from TryHackMe in December 2022, IT Help Desk for Beginners certification from LinkedIn in March 2021, and IT Service Desk: Customer Service Fundamentals certification, also from LinkedIn, in March 2021.
