Danielle Santos

Danielle Santos has a diverse work experience in the field of research and science. Danielle started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Queen's University Belfast in 2014. Danielle then joined BioAtlantis Ltd as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in 2015. In 2017, Danielle began working at Axis Bio, where they held the roles of Scientist and later became a Study Director. In 2019, they founded their own company called The Food Doc. Currently, Danielle works as a Scientific QA at Overwatch Research, starting in 2020.

Danielle Santos has a diverse education history. Danielle attended Royal School Dungannon from 1999 to 2006, where they studied Maths, Chemistry, and Biology. Following their secondary education, they went on to Queen's University Belfast, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from 2007 to 2010. Danielle continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from 2010 to 2014. In 2016, they pursued further education by completing a Mini MBA in Business and Management at Queen's University Belfast.
