Marieke Verhaar Fennis is a seasoned public relations professional with extensive experience in brand communication and strategic PR. As co-founder of Ovide Agency since October 2019, Marieke leads a PR agency that focuses on innovative brand strategies. Prior to this, Marieke held roles such as Senior PR Consultant and Account Director at Coopr, where key accounts included Netflix and Uber, and served as Communications Lead for Uber in the Netherlands, where Marieke was instrumental in shaping the company's narrative around ride-sharing and mobility. Marieke's career began at CommuniGate PR & Marketing, specializing in tourism and leisure, and included positions at Whizpr and Travelvalley.nl. Marieke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Business Management from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
