Chuy Alvarado

Chuy Alvarado has over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Sr Production Engineer at Ovintiv since August 2020. Prior to this role, Chuy held several positions at Encana Corporation from October 2014 to August 2020, including Drilling Supervisor/Sr Drilling Engineer and Drilling Engineer. Earlier in their career, Chuy worked as a Sr. Drilling Engineer at Murphy Exploration & Production and gained initial experience as an Engineer Trainee at Ensco plc. Chuy also started in the field with an Exploration Internship at Williams Production. Chuy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, obtained in 2009, and completed high school education at Valley High School, graduating in 2005.
