Ruth Austen

Ruth Austen has extensive experience in the field of HR, starting as an HR Assistant at the Cleveland Fire Brigade in 2007. Ruth then worked their way up through various roles at organizations such as the British Red Cross, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, and the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. Most recently, they held leadership positions as Head of People at Shepper and LOVESPACE before becoming the Head of People, UK & France at Oviva in 2023.

Ruth Austen attended Rochester Grammar School for Girls from 1997 to 2002. Ruth then pursued Music & Languages at the University of Birmingham from 2002 to 2004. Later, in 2009 to 2010, they studied Human Resource Management at Croydon College and obtained a CIPD PGDip.
