Brittany Holian, RID has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Brittany started their career as an Interior Design Intern at FRCH Design Worldwide, where they worked on developing schematic ideas and making material selections for various branded environment design projects. Brittany then had a job shadow experience at Perkins+Will, where they gained insights into their project teams and assisted in day-to-day tasks.
After that, Brittany worked at NELSON Worldwide as an Interior Designer II, where they completed projects in the healthcare, corporate workplace, and tenant development studios. Brittany issued marketing plans, performed site surveys, and managed projects from programming to construction administration.
Brittany also worked as an Interior Designer at Niles Bolton Associates, where they provided architecture, interior design, landscape design, and urban planning services.
Prior to their professional design work, Brittany gained experience as a Teaching Assistant and Graphic Designer at the University of Kentucky. Brittany collaborated with professors to redesign and develop pedagogical approaches for hybrid learning environments, instructed and mentored students, and conducted research on social media learning methodologies. Brittany also worked as a College of Design Ambassador and a University Tour Guide + Admissions Ambassador, helping prospective students and families by providing university information, leading campus tours, and facilitating class shadowing experiences.
Currently, Brittany works at OVME Aesthetics as the Director of Studio Design & Environments. Brittany leads the design, documentation, and construction of new studios across the country, maintains relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors, and collaborates with the team to ensure the full utilization of the studios.
Brittany Holian, RID, pursued their education at the University of Kentucky from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. In 2014, they participated in an Architecture Semester Abroad program at Kent State University. Prior to their university education, they attended Middletown High School from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Brittany has earned several certifications, including being a Registered Interior Designer through the Georgia Board of Architects and Interior Designers in 2018, obtaining their NCIDQ certification from CIDA - The Council for Interior Design Accreditation in 2017, and becoming a LEED Green Associate through USGBC-CCGBC in April 2015.
