Mark Garofalo

Mark Garofalo has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to present. Mark currently holds the role of Managing Director, Global Head of Sales at OWL ESG, Inc. since May 2022. In this position, Mark oversees sales operations globally. Previously, Mark worked at ISS Corporate Solutions from 2014 to 2022, holding multiple roles including Director, Governance & Compensation Stewardship Solutions and Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development. At ISS, their responsibilities included managing advisory firm relationships, data partnerships, and providing corporate governance support. Prior to ISS, Mark worked at MSCI Inc. from 2010 to 2014 as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances. Mark managed relationships with advisory firms and assisted clients in accessing research, data, and analytics related to corporate governance. Before joining MSCI, Mark served as the Director of Sales at The Altman Group from 2009 to 2010, where they specialized in proxy solicitation and corporate governance consulting. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as the Business Development Manager at PrecisionIR Group, focusing on investor relations and communication services. Mark began their career as a Direct Marketing Manager at Interactive Financial Marketing Group from 2004 to 2006. Mark also completed a summer internship at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. from 1998 to 2001.

Mark Garofalo completed their Executive Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, with an end year of 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph-Macon College between 1999 and 2003. Before attending college, Mark attended The Heights School from 1995 to 1999 for their College Preparatory education.

Furthermore, Mark has also obtained several additional certifications. In February 2022, they completed the certifications in "How to Be an Effective Remote Manager" and "Mergers & Acquisitions" from LinkedIn. In January 2022, they obtained the certification in "Agile Foundations" from the Project Management Institute.
