Taison Bell, MD, MBA's work experience is as follows:

Starting in 2009, they worked at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital as a Resident Physician from July 2009 to July 2012. During this time, they also served as Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine from July 2013 to June 2014 and as an Infectious Disease Fellow from June 2012 to June 2015.

In 2015, they joined The National Institutes of Health as a Critical Care Medicine Fellow, staying in this role until July 2017.

From July 2016 to May 2017, Dr. Bell was a Leadership Institute Fellow at the Center for American Progress.

From July 2016 to January 2019, they worked at IPRO as a Medical Officer for Data Analysis, Evaluation, & Reporting. From January 2015 to June 2016, they were an Independent Consultant for the same company.

In July 2017, Dr. Bell started working at the University of Virginia as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Taison also became the Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs in the Department of Medicine in April 2022, and they served as the Director of the Summer Medical Leadership Program from October 2018 onwards.

Starting in June 2019, they co-founded Owl Peak Labs and has been actively involved in the company.

Taison began working at UVA Health System in July 2019 and held several roles there. Taison served as a Physician Representative on the Clinical Staff Executive Committee, a MICU Director from July 2020 to April 2022, and a Co-Lead for Mortality and Sepsis Coalitions from July 2019 to April 2022.

Taison Bell, MD, MBA, began their education in 2001 at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in African American and African Studies in 2005. Following this, they attended Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 2005 to 2009, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine. In 2018, Taison Bell embarked on an Executive MBA program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and successfully completed it in 2020.
