Emily Carpenter has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Emily worked as a Research Associate at Advisory Board in 2013 and as an Analyst, Consultant, and Manager at Kaiser Associates from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, they served as an Innovative Financing Graduate Intern at USAID. From 2019 to 2023, they worked at Social Finance, first as an Associate Director and then as a Director. Currently, they are working as a Principal in Business Engagement at Ownership Works, a nonprofit organization focused on providing all employees with an opportunity to build wealth at work through partnerships, education, and network-building.
Emily Carpenter received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University in 2013. Emily then pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Finance & Social Impact, between 2017 and 2019.
