Shadi McIsaac

Shadi McIsaac is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ownr, a company that helps entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses. Shadi has a long history of working in the tech industry, including stints at IBM and RBC Ventures. Prior to founding Ownr, they were the Director of Digital Innovation at RBC Ventures.

Shadi has always been passionate about technology and its potential to change the world. Shadi started their career at IBM, where they worked as a Sales Specialist and Programs Manager. Shadi then joined RBC, where they were responsible for leading the bank's digital transformation.

Under their leadership, RBC Ventures has become one of the most active corporate venture arms in Canada. The team has made over 50 investments in early-stage companies, including Ownr. Shadi is also a mentor and advisor to many startups and is passionate about supporting women in entrepreneurship.

Shadi McIsaac has a Bachelor of Arts from Western University and a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management. Shadi is also a graduate of the Angel Academy.
