Alice Kao

Alice Kao is a Project Architect at oWOW since December 2022, specializing in a mass timber high-rise project in Oakland, CA, along with research and development on product cataloging and sourcing. Previously, Alice worked at LEDDY MAYTUM STACY Architects from February 2017 to November 2022, contributing to multiple affordable housing projects and advancing to become the point-of-contact for the UC Davis Walker Hall adaptive reuse project, significantly enhancing its LEED certification. Early career experiences include roles as a Junior Designer at ELS Architecture and Urban Design and MBH Architects, as well as a Sustainability Intern at UC Berkeley. Alice holds a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a Minor in Sustainable Design from the University of California, Berkeley.
