Jorge Barrio

Jorge Barrio is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in robotics and autonomous systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Localisation and Vision at Oxbotica since June 2021, Jorge has previously held senior roles at Animal Dynamics Limited and Aurrigo, where responsibilities included leading the development of fully Autonomous Navigation Systems for Pod vehicles. Prior positions also include serving as an Autonomous Projects Manager at RDM Group and as a Robotics Engineer at Guidance Automation Ltd, where significant contributions were made to advanced product designs. Jorge's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Automation and Robotics, and a Master's degree in the same field, complemented by an Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering.
