David King

David King is a seasoned media relations professional with extensive experience in communications and advocacy. Currently serving as the Media Relations Manager at Oxfam America since June 2006, David oversees a team responsible for managing media efforts related to humanitarian crises, development work, advocacy, and fundraising initiatives. Prior to this role, David worked as Communications Director at the National Environmental Trust from August 1997 to November 2004, where responsibilities included leading campaigns on climate change and air quality. David's career also includes a position as Senior Account Executive at Shandwick Public Affairs and a tenure as Communications Director at both the National Environmental Trust and Pew Environment Group. David holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of the South.
