Emily Bhatti

Associate Director Of Strategic Communications at Oxfam America

Emily Bhatti has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Emily began their career as an Account Coordinator at Denterlein in 2006. Emily then served as an Intake Volunteer/ Intern at the American Civil Liberties Union in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Development/ Communications Intern at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Emily's next role was an International Program Assistant/ PEPFAR at Harvard University in 2009.

In 2010, they joined Road2Argentina as a Program Coordinator, Manager of the Spanish School, and Manager of Social Media. After two years, Emily became a Media Relations Coordinator at Oxfam America in 2012. Emily later transitioned to Northeastern University as a Media and Public Relations Specialist in 2014.

Returning to Oxfam America in 2015, Emily took on the position of Press Officer, Corporate and Brand. Emily then progressed to the role of Senior Press Officer in 2017. In 2021, Emily became the Strategic Communications Manager at Oxfam America, and they currently hold the position of Associate Director of Strategic Communications.

Emily Bhatti attended Northeastern University from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the university, they studied a diverse range of subjects including Communication Studies, Law Policy and Society, and Spanish.
