John Abdulla

John Abdulla has a diverse work experience, starting from 2003 and continuing till the present. John has worked at multiple companies such as Oxfam America, Help Women Heal, BOWES GMAC Real Estate, Spectrum Media, The Millennium Campus Network, ONE Curry, Curry College, Phantazma Pictures, and Arlington TV Studio.

At Oxfam America, John held various roles including Director, Associate Director, Web Manager, Web Content Manager, Web Editor, and New Media Specialist.

John also worked as a Freelancer at John Abdulla - Freelance, where they were responsible for web design, video production, website maintenance, and providing computer and video consulting services.

John served as the Vice-President of Communications at Help Women Heal.

John held the position of IT/Webmaster & Real Estate Referral Agent at BOWES GMAC Real Estate, where they managed online and social media presence, administered the construction of a website, and received awards for website excellence.

John worked as an Assistant Writer at Spectrum Media, assisting in the writing, editing, and assembly of documentary film proposals.

At The Millennium Campus Network, they served as the Director of Programs and Events, coordinating national student-led programs and events.

John founded and served as the President of ONE Curry, a student activist group aimed at spreading awareness about global poverty and coordinating fundraising efforts.

John also worked as a Student Film Director, Producer, and Writer at Curry College, where they created various films and documentaries.

John worked as a Camera Operator at Phantazma Pictures, shooting a documentary series called XPOSE.

Lastly, John was a Member of the Board of Directors and a Producer at Arlington TV Studio, where they planned the future of the studio, wrote, produced, and directed video projects, and covered town events.

John Abdulla attended Curry College from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Communication with a major in English and a minor in Film Concentration. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in December 2018, followed by the Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) certification in August 2020.
