Victoria Smith has extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily focused on resource development and individual giving. Victoria started their career as an Educational Outreach Coordinator at Global Grassroots in 2007, where they developed an educational outreach program for a documentary. Victoria then worked as a Development Associate at Genocide Intervention Network from 2008 to 2010. At Groundswell.org, they served as a Development Coordinator from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Partners In Health as an External Relations Coordinator, where they built development and communications capacity for the organization's sister site in Malawi.
In 2013, Victoria Smith began working at Oxfam America, where they held various roles over the years. Victoria started as a Special Gifts Officer, ensuring effective communication and stewardship of donors. Currently, Victoria Smith is a Net Impact Board Fellow at NORTHEAST CLEAN ENERGY COUNCIL, INC, starting in 2022.
Victoria Smith has a diverse education history, with a focus on executive learning, organizational change, business administration, and political science. In 2022-2023, they attended Northwestern University and obtained a Coaching Lab Level I Certificate in Executive Learning and Organizational Change. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Before their MBA, they completed their undergraduate studies from 2002 to 2006 at Trinity University, earning a BA in Political Science and Economics with a concentration in Public Policy.
