Stien Dhaese

Stien Dhaese is a Principal Scientist at Oxford Biomedica, with a career spanning various roles within the Analytical Services Group since 2015. Stien has served as a subject matter expert in multiple analytical tests and has effectively line-managed scientists while ensuring compliance with GMP standards. Prior experience includes working as a Scientist in the Product Analysis and Release Group at Oxford Biomedica, where competency in QC release and stability tests was developed, alongside the creation of an HIV-1 p24-antigen ELISA assay. Earlier, Stien was a post-doctoral scientist at the University of Cologne focusing on skin adhesion molecules and completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at Ghent University, where research centered on the thymosin beta15 family. Stien holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Ghent University.
