Richard Wood has extensive experience in the public sector, particularly in housing strategy and welfare reform. Since March 2016, Richard has held multiple roles at Oxford City Council, advancing from Welfare Reform Project Officer to Housing Strategy and Needs Service Manager, and has been involved in the Universal Credit pilot program. Prior to this, Richard served as a Policy Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions, focusing on Universal Credit, and gained early experience at Oxford City Council in various capacities related to customer service and welfare reform. Richard's academic background includes a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Reading.
