Technical Sales Manager, Product Lead at Oxford Flow

Jack Thornton has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jack started their career at Thomson Airways as an Aircraft Engineer Intern, where they gained experience in different departments, including engine maintenance and aircraft inspections. Jack then interned at POWERVAMP U.K. LIMITED as a Product Assembly Technician / Lead Intern, working on hands-on projects with the Senior Mechanical Engineer. Jack also worked as a Mechanical / Systems Engineer Intern at Quanta Dialysis Technologies, where they collaborated with engineers from different disciplines to solve complex problems in biomedical engineering. Jack further expanded their skills as a Design & Manufacture Assistant Project Engineer at WMG, University of Warwick, where they successfully provided innovative engineering solutions to a client. Jack then took on the role of Logistics & Build Executive Coordinator at Warwick's World Largest Blanket Fort project, where they raised funds and awareness for homelessness charities. Jack later joined Lentus Composites as a Graduate Development Engineer, where they played a key role in developing innovative designs for manufacturing facilities. Currently, Jack is working at Oxford Flow as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Product Lead, responsible for leading product development and utilizing their mechanical engineering skills.

Jack Thornton completed their Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Warwick from 2014 to 2018. In April 2020, they also obtained the certification of being a Certified SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design Professional from Dassault Systèmes.
