Oksana Josypcuk

Oksana Josypcuk has a diverse work experience in various scientific and engineering roles. Oksana is currently working at Oxford Immune Algorithmics Ltd as a Lead Biochemical Scientist, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Boston Scientific as a Research and Development Scientist, where they developed test methods for liquid embolic product characterization and displayed an innovative approach to problem solving.

Oksana also gained experience at Osler Diagnostics as an R&D Scientist, specializing in microfluidic system design, material characterization, and biochemical electrochemical assays integration. At Pfizer, they worked as a Material Characterisation Scientist, characterizing active pharmaceutical ingredients and troubleshooting investigations within Pfizer's Global Supply Organization. Before that, they held the position of QC Analyst at PUROGENIX LIMITED, where they organized a new QC laboratory and operated in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Their earliest work experience was at the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry as a Research Associate, where they designed, fabricated, and tested electrochemical enzymatic biosensors for the determination of substances like glucose, dopamine, and sarcosine. Overall, Oksana has demonstrated expertise in biochemical engineering, research and development, material characterization, microfluidic systems, and assay integration throughout their career.

Oksana Josypcuk earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry from Charles University, where they studied from 2005 to 2014.
