Alex Wallace

Alex Wallace has a strong background in healthcare and laboratory work. They started their career as a Laboratory Intern at Rutherford Diagnostics in May 2018 and worked there until February 2020. They then joined UK Biobank as a Laboratory Technician in May 2020, and later took on the role of Healthcare Assistant from March 2021 to February 2022. Following this, they worked as a Healthcare Assistant at Nuffield Health from January 2022 to July 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Research scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting in July 2023.

Alex Wallace attended Manchester University from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a degree in Developmental Biology with a focus on Developmental Biology and Embryology. They then went on to study at the University of Chester, starting in 2021, where they are currently pursuing a degree in Medical Genetics with a specialization in Human/Medical Genetics.
