Ashan Musafer Msc

Ashan Musafer holds an MSc and MBA and currently serves as a Field Application Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Field Application Specialist at Bio-Rad Laboratories from November 2019 to April 2023, where Ashan provided advanced training and application support for genomics and cell biology products in the Middle East, focusing on relationship building and brand loyalty. Ashan's background also encompasses a Medical Research Scientist and Deputy Quality Manager position at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute from July 2015 to August 2019, where responsibilities included developing genetic and epigenetic biomarkers for cancer diagnostics and facilitating clinical trials. Ashan's education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science from Monash University, a Master's Degree in Laboratory Medicine from RMIT University, and an MBA from Victoria University.
