Cristina Gamba

Cristina Gamba has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Cristina is currently working as the Associate Director of Product Marketing, Software and Informatics at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head Of Product Management at Samplix from June 2019 to July 2022, and also served as the Global Product Manager at the same company from November 2019 to July 2022. Before that, they worked as a Field Application Scientist at Biomatters from June 2016 to November 2019. Cristina also has research experience, having worked as an IEF Marie-Curie post-doc fellow at the University of Copenhagen from April 2014 to March 2016, and as a Post-Doc Researcher at University College Dublin from January 2013 to March 2014. Cristina completed their PhD in Biology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from May 2007 to January 2012, and also worked as a Post-Doc Researcher at the same university from January 2012 to December 2012.

Cristina Gamba's education history includes a Mini MBA in Marketing from Marketing Week in 2023. Prior to that, they completed a PhD in Genetics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2006 to 2012. In 2006, they also obtained a Master's degree in Human Biology and Evolution from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
