Dale Young

Dale Young has a strong background in finance and accounting. Dale started their career as a Call Centre Consultant at FNB First Direct in 2001. Dale then progressed to become an Audit Clerk at PKF (Jhb) Inc in 2006, and later advanced to the role of Audit Manager in 2009. In 2013, Dale joined Grant Thornton (Jhb) Inc as an Audit Manager before moving to Grant Thornton UK LLP in 2016, where they worked as a Senior Audit Manager. In 2022, Dale joined Oxford University Press as a Group Accounting and Consolidation Manager before transitioning to their current role as a Finance Manager at Oxford Nanopore Technologies in 2023.

Dale Young obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting at the University of Johannesburg from 2003 to 2004. Dale'ssecondary education took place at Midrand High School from 1993 to 1998. Additionally, they received certification in "Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform" from LinkedIn in January 2023.
