Ian Cowans

Ian Cowans has extensive experience in sales and management roles in the biotechnology and life sciences industry. Ian is currently working as the Associate Director of Sales Enablement at Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Prior to this, Ian served as the EMEA Sales and Support Director at Stilla Technologies, where they built and managed a successful team. Ian also held the positions of Business Director for the UK and Ireland as well as European Manager of Inside Sales at NanoTemper Technologies. Ian has also worked at QIAGEN, Hamilton Company, Agilent Technologies, Velocity11, PerkinElmer LAS, and Bigneat Ltd, where they held various sales and management positions. Ian began their career as a Research Associate at the University of London, Royal London Hospital. Ian's expertise lies in sales, team management, recruitment, and business development in the biotechnology and life sciences sector.

Ian Cowans attended Coventry University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Biology.
