Neville Gilhooly

Neville Gilhooly has extensive work experience in the field of research and science. Neville is currently employed as a Senior Research Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Birmingham from February 2019 to July 2023. Before that, they held various positions at the University of California, Davis, including Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2017 to December 2018, Anna D Barker Fellow from July 2016 to July 2017, and Postdoctoral Researcher from January 2014 to July 2016. Neville started their professional career as a Researcher PHD Student at the University of Bristol from September 2009 to November 2013.

Neville Gilhooly attended the University of Bristol from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Neville then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from 2009 to 2013.
