Nuno MacHado

Nuno Machado worked as a PHD Student at Universität Freiburg from January 2017 to March 2022. Nuno is currently employed as a Research Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting in July 2022.

Nuno Machado's education history begins in 2011 when they enrolled at Universidade do Minho and earned their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry in 2014. In 2013, they took a University Extension Course in Cell Physiology at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. From 2014 to 2016, Nuno pursued their Master's Degree in Applied Biochemistry with a focus on Analytical and Molecular Biochemistry at Universidade do Minho. In 2015, they had an Erasmus Placement at The University of Freiburg, where they studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, specifically the Molecular Biology of Archaea. Nuno then continued their studies at The University of Freiburg from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biology.
