Olivor Holman

Automation Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies

Olivor Holman has worked at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and participated in the iGEM competition. At Oxford Nanopore Technologies, they worked as an Automation Scientist, developing and implementing automation methods for laboratory processes. Olivor also worked as a Biologics Production Scientist, involved in setting up and operating a semi-automated IVD manufacturing facility. In the iGEM competition, Olivor was a team member of an interdisciplinary group that won a gold medal for their synthetic biology project targeting water pollutants.

Olivor Holman completed their education at the University of Warwick from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Biological Sciences (MBio, Hons) degree in the field of Biological Sciences. Additionally, Olivor has obtained certifications in Hamilton Venus Four Advanced Software Training from Hamilton Company in June 2021, as well as FluentControl A-30 training, L-30 FCA Liquid Handling for Fluent from Tecan. They have also obtained the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel 2016 certification from Microsoft Certifications.
