Heather Mitchell

Heather Mitchell is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in both research and medical writing. Currently serving as a Senior Medical Writer at Oxford PharmaGenesis since September 2019, Heather previously worked as a research scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from November 2012 to August 2019, where responsibilities included managing the rodent Behavioral Testing Service and consulting on behavioral testing projects. Prior to that, Heather completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University, focusing on Alzheimer's Disease research, after earning a Ph.D. in Molecular and Systems Pharmacology from Emory University. Heather began their academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Connecticut College.
