Richard Claes holds a PhD in Drug Discovery from the University of Cambridge and has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and research sectors. Currently serving as Principal Medical Writer at Oxford PharmaGenesis since March 2014, Richard Claes has progressed through various roles including Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer. Prior to this, Richard Claes contributed to drug discovery research at the Medical Research Council, where a PhD focused on Entamoeba histolytica, a significant global health concern. Richard Claes also gained experience as a Scientist in Compound Screening at GlaxoSmithKline and completed an MSc in Computational Molecular Biology at The University of Manchester. An undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry was earned at Durham University.
