Tara Banahan

Tara Banahan began their work experience in 2018 as a Business Consultancy Partner for the Business Innovation Programme at the University of Southampton. Tara then worked as a Placement Student at TAG Aviation in 2018. In 2019, Tara worked as a Placement Engineer at Lockheed Martin for two months. Tara then transitioned to the role of Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin in 2020 and stayed in that role until May 2023. Most recently, Tara joined Oxford Space Systems in April 2023 as a Project Engineer.

Tara Banahan has a diverse education history. Tara attended the University of Southampton, where they pursued two degrees. Tara obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Spacecraft Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Prior to their university studies, Tara Banahan completed their A-Levels in Physics, Maths, and Spanish at The Downs School Compton. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in UX Design Professional from Google in December 2022 and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in May 2022.
