Arjen Roodselaar

Arjen Roodselaar has had work experience in various companies starting from 2011. In 2011, they worked as a research intern at Thales in a research project that focused on Disruption-Tolerant Networking in Tactical Communication Networks, where they conducted research on the relationship between information delay and application performance in disrupted military tactical communication networks.

In 2012, Arjen joined Facebook as a software engineer and was a member of the Oculus product firmware team. Their work involved implementing the Oculus Rift S headset display stack, including debugging erroneous behavior in vendor provided silicon and development of machine drivers. Arjen was also the software engineering lead for certifiable flight systems for the Aquila HALE UAV. Additionally, Arjen worked as a production engineer at Facebook, where they reduced operational cost through automation of the HBase and Hadoop infrastructure. Arjen also analyzed complex system failures and performance bottlenecks to increase service performance and availability.

In 2019, Arjen joined Oxide Computer Company as an engineer but there is no further information about their roles and responsibilities at the company.
