Jordan Hendricks has had a diverse work experience beginning in 2012 as a Public Health and Media Advocacy Researcher at Eagle Ridge Institute. In 2013, they worked as a Community Assistant at Brown University Office of Residential Life and as a Managing Editor at The Brown Daily Herald, Inc. Jordan also worked as a Project Analyst at Chef's Requested Foods and as a Teaching Assistant at Brown University Department of Computer Science where they were eventually promoted to Head TA in the same department. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Delphix before getting their first full-time job as a Software Engineer at Joyent in 2016. In this role, they worked on incremental improvements to the illumos operating system and presented on their NVMe hotplug work internally at Joyent. Jordan then moved to Fastly in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer before finally moving on to their current role as a Software Engineer at Oxide Computer Company in 2022.
Jordan Hendricks earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Brown University in 2014, and subsequently completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the same institution in 2016.
